Covid-19:  Group commends Akwa Ibom Govt over provision of medical facilities  A Non-governmental organisation, Save The Nation Movement (STNM) has described as commendable, steps taken by the Akwa Ibom State government to equip the Isolation Centre for the treatment of Coronavirus cases in the State. BREAKING: Days After Testing Positive For COVID-19, UCH CMD Tests Negative  The Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan Prof. Jesse Otegbayo has tested negative for coronavirus, after spending eight days in isolation and treatment. According to The Nation, the Head of Public Relations Unit of the hospital, Mr Toye Akinrinlola disclosed that the last test on his blood sample return negative. Akinrinlola said the test result arrived at about 3:45 pm to gladden the heart of family, friends and workers of the institution. Otegbayo had tested positive to the virus last week. He said he may have contracted the virus through Board meetings of the hospital which were held from Monday to Wednesday last week. The week-long meetings were suspended on last Thursday after some members showed symptoms of coronavirus. He was among the eight confirmed cases in Oyo State as at Wednesday April 1.
