Buhari Has Difficulty Drinking And Eating, But Cabal Won't Let Him Travel For Urgent Treatment

Three insiders in the Presidency have told SaharaReporters that President Muhammadu Buhari is being fed intravenously as he has had severe difficulty eating and drinking fluids for several days.    The sources also disclosed that, although President Buhari's health had held up for a while after his return from an extended medical vacation in the United Kingdom, his condition has deteriorated in the last several weeks. They pointed to Mr. Buhari's eating and drinking problems that have left him too frail to leave his official residence at Aso Rock Villa to attend any official functions.    Mr. Buhari has been unable to attend the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting three weeks in a row. Last week he also failed to attend the Friday Juma'at prayers because he had to undergo urgent medical treatment that had him confined to a medical room secretly set up inside the residential area of the villa. President Buhari was also conspicuously absent from the wedding ...

Celebration of a life well spent, as Lere Olayinka gives Mom befitting national burial at Okemesi-Ekiti

The loss of every caring and loving mother is especially poignant when it happens while the children are still very much ready and determined to give her (the mother) the very best of life in terms of care, support, love and even age-matching fruits of her labour. Apparently, it is never easy announcing the demise and burial of a caring mother, but this is the first step in honouring the soul of a departed mother whose memory cannot be forgotten in a jiffy but lingers. It was another epoch-making event on Friday as the final burial of the mother of a Media Exponent, Tycoon, Expert and Lead Vocal recorded the presence of prominent Nigerians, the who is who, the Nigerian Bigwigs, the movers and the shakers of Nigeria: State Governors, Ministers, Senators, House of Representative Members, State Assembly Members, Commissioners, Chairmen, other Political Appointees and enormous Gentlemen of the Press from several Media Outfits across the federation. The burial, undoubtedly brought t...

Senator Ojudu’s loyalists threaten to leave APC over lopsided federal appointments

Loyalists of the Special Adviser on Political Matters in the office of the Vice President, Senator Babafemi Ojudu in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State are said to be angry over the way and manner all federal appointments so far given to the State were cornered by members of the party that are loyal to the Minister of Mines and Steel Development and former governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi. Ojudu’s loyalists are now threatening to leave the APC if the trend is allowed to continue and they are said to have made their position known in a meeting they held with the Presidential aide a few days ago. Multiple sources said Ojudu, himself was only keeping faith, hoping that something happened at the Presidency that will change the power equation and dislodge Fayemi from the Federal Executive Council. Ojudu loyalists were said to have been miffed by the recent appointments made by the President in the last three weeks, which went to loyalists of Fayemi, and t...

Shocker!!! FG-Sponsored Governorship Aspirant, Aeroland Throws Caution Into The Wind, Curses Ekiti People on Social Media

One of the governorship aspirants under the divided umbrella of the People's Democratic Party, who is being sponsored by the Federal government to pull a Jimoh Ibrahim stunt in Ekiti State, Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as Aeroland has come down heavily on Ekiti People by tagging them the 'Oloriburkus' misfortunate people and 'Ole' Thieves. These harsh and denigratory remarks from supposedly eminent personality were dropped when he was reacting to some tweets by a twitter user @PrinzDebola (Dbaba) also known on Facebook as Debola Akingbade, who'd tweeted that Aeroland is being sponsored by the power that be to cause another setback for PDP in Ekiti State, just the way they did in Ondo State. The derogatory tweets did not go down well with twitter users as they were all dazed seeing someone seeking political office cursing those he intends to govern. Below are the pictures of some of their tweets:

EFCC recovered N13bn cash and APC Govt of the more you look, the less you see

Yesterday, it was made public that the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) claimed ownership of the $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23, 218,000 seized on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from Osborne Towers, a luxury residential complex in Ikoyi, Lagos. This, to my mind is one cover-up too many and this federal government seeming plot to protect the original owner of both the money and the apartment where it was found has further showed that the anti-corruption fight is political, selective and therefore a ruse. Nigerians should recall that I have consistently maintained that the APC-led federal government was not fighting any corruption. Rather, the government is using the anti-corruption fight as a major political tool to cripple opposition and turn the country to a one party state. Therefore, for once, the federal government should operate with the mind-set that Nigerians are no fools. They are capable of asking questions and they are already doing th...
