Buhari Has Difficulty Drinking And Eating, But Cabal Won't Let Him Travel For Urgent Treatment

Three insiders in the Presidency have told SaharaReporters that President Muhammadu Buhari is being fed intravenously as he has had severe difficulty eating and drinking fluids for several days.    The sources also disclosed that, although President Buhari's health had held up for a while after his return from an extended medical vacation in the United Kingdom, his condition has deteriorated in the last several weeks. They pointed to Mr. Buhari's eating and drinking problems that have left him too frail to leave his official residence at Aso Rock Villa to attend any official functions.    Mr. Buhari has been unable to attend the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting three weeks in a row. Last week he also failed to attend the Friday Juma'at prayers because he had to undergo urgent medical treatment that had him confined to a medical room secretly set up inside the residential area of the villa. President Buhari was also conspicuously absent from the wedding ...

Celebration of a life well spent, as Lere Olayinka gives Mom befitting national burial at Okemesi-Ekiti

The loss of every caring and loving mother is especially poignant when it happens while the children are still very much ready and determined to give her (the mother) the very best of life in terms of care, support, love and even age-matching fruits of her labour. Apparently, it is never easy announcing the demise and burial of a caring mother, but this is the first step in honouring the soul of a departed mother whose memory cannot be forgotten in a jiffy but lingers. It was another epoch-making event on Friday as the final burial of the mother of a Media Exponent, Tycoon, Expert and Lead Vocal recorded the presence of prominent Nigerians, the who is who, the Nigerian Bigwigs, the movers and the shakers of Nigeria: State Governors, Ministers, Senators, House of Representative Members, State Assembly Members, Commissioners, Chairmen, other Political Appointees and enormous Gentlemen of the Press from several Media Outfits across the federation. The burial, undoubtedly brought t...

Senator Ojudu’s loyalists threaten to leave APC over lopsided federal appointments

Loyalists of the Special Adviser on Political Matters in the office of the Vice President, Senator Babafemi Ojudu in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State are said to be angry over the way and manner all federal appointments so far given to the State were cornered by members of the party that are loyal to the Minister of Mines and Steel Development and former governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi. Ojudu’s loyalists are now threatening to leave the APC if the trend is allowed to continue and they are said to have made their position known in a meeting they held with the Presidential aide a few days ago. Multiple sources said Ojudu, himself was only keeping faith, hoping that something happened at the Presidency that will change the power equation and dislodge Fayemi from the Federal Executive Council. Ojudu loyalists were said to have been miffed by the recent appointments made by the President in the last three weeks, which went to loyalists of Fayemi, and t...

Shocker!!! FG-Sponsored Governorship Aspirant, Aeroland Throws Caution Into The Wind, Curses Ekiti People on Social Media

One of the governorship aspirants under the divided umbrella of the People's Democratic Party, who is being sponsored by the Federal government to pull a Jimoh Ibrahim stunt in Ekiti State, Otunba Segun Adewale popularly known as Aeroland has come down heavily on Ekiti People by tagging them the 'Oloriburkus' misfortunate people and 'Ole' Thieves. These harsh and denigratory remarks from supposedly eminent personality were dropped when he was reacting to some tweets by a twitter user @PrinzDebola (Dbaba) also known on Facebook as Debola Akingbade, who'd tweeted that Aeroland is being sponsored by the power that be to cause another setback for PDP in Ekiti State, just the way they did in Ondo State. The derogatory tweets did not go down well with twitter users as they were all dazed seeing someone seeking political office cursing those he intends to govern. Below are the pictures of some of their tweets:

EFCC recovered N13bn cash and APC Govt of the more you look, the less you see

Yesterday, it was made public that the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) claimed ownership of the $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23, 218,000 seized on Wednesday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from Osborne Towers, a luxury residential complex in Ikoyi, Lagos. This, to my mind is one cover-up too many and this federal government seeming plot to protect the original owner of both the money and the apartment where it was found has further showed that the anti-corruption fight is political, selective and therefore a ruse. Nigerians should recall that I have consistently maintained that the APC-led federal government was not fighting any corruption. Rather, the government is using the anti-corruption fight as a major political tool to cripple opposition and turn the country to a one party state. Therefore, for once, the federal government should operate with the mind-set that Nigerians are no fools. They are capable of asking questions and they are already doing th...

Fayose condemns continued detention of Suswan, Babangida Aliyu, Austin Okai, others

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has decried the indiscriminate arrest and continued detention of former Governors of Benue and Niger States, Mr Gabriel Suswan and Dr Babangida Aliyu as well the National coordinator of Peoples Democratic Party National Youth Frontier (PDPNYF), Comrade Austin Usman Okai, describing their continued detention as further demonstration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government regime of vindictiveness and disrespect for the laws of Nigeria. The governor said there was no law permitting security agents to detain Nigerians indefinitely, adding that; “It is even more worrisome that former Governor Suswan has been in detention since February 26 this year and Austin Okai, who was arrested in Abuja last Sunday, was arraigned in Lokoja Magistrate Court yesterday (Thursday), granted bail and rearrested at the court premises by the same police that charged him to court.” In a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Friday, and signed by Special Assist...

Fayemi living in fool's paradise, he never won any election in Ekiti -Fayose’s aide

The Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Mr. Lere Olayinka, has said that the Minister of Mines and Steel Development and former governor of the State, Dr Kayode Fayemi never won any election in Ekiti and that he is only a democrat by court appointment, adding that; “He will continue to live in the fool’s paradise concerning his scandalous defeat in the June 21, 2014 governorship election.” Olayinka, who was reacting to Fayemi’s statement on Saturday that “at the appropriate time, he (Governor Fayose) would meet his comeuppance (punishment),” described Fayemi as a “serial betrayal of confidence whose political future will remain bleak, having betrayed his number one political benefactor, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.” “If there is anyone that deserves to meet both physical and divine punishment, that person is Kayode Fayemi, who plunged Ekiti State into debt by stealing the state blind and betrayed someone like Asiwaju Tinubu,...

Exclusive! Segun Adewale (Aeroland) gives Fayemi N150m to pursue Supreme Court case against Fayose, Sets to contest Senate under APC

While the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose is focussing solely on the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi as masterminds of the fresh plot to remove him from office, using a review of the Supreme Court judgment, validating his victory in the June 21, 2014 governorship election, it has been discovered that one of the major masterminds is Mr Segun Adewale, otherwise known as Aeroland. Three days ago, Segun Adewale allegedly donated N150 million to Fayemi, as part of his contribution to the “Fayose Must Go Project.” Sources in the known disclosed that the N150 million was handed to Fayemi in the presence of a notable chieftain of the APC from Lagos State, with the agreement that he (Aeroland) will be fielded as APC senatorial candidate for Ekiti central in 2019. One of the sources also revealed that Segun Adewale was the financier of the parallel exco of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State, with the int...

TELL DR. KAYODE FAYEMI: IT IS BALLOT BOX, NOT BACK DOOR

BEING FULL TEXT OF THE PRESS BRIEFING BY EKITI STATE GOVERNOR, MR AYODELE FAYOSE ON APRIL 3, 2017 Gentlemen of the press, Recall that I addressed you on January 5, this year about plots and machinations by my predecessor in office, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, in cahoots with leaders and stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti and Abuja, to return to power through the backdoor, by subverting the will of the Ekiti people and truncate democracy through devious plans of enlisting a section of the Judiciary to revisit the 2014 governorship election in the state and remove me from office. When we exposed them then, they pulled their punch; now, information at our disposal is that they are at it again. In the last few days, Fayemi has been boasting that the Supreme Court will be made to review its judgment of April 14, 2015, which validated my election. This was an election that was adjudged free, fair, and credible by both local and international observers, including th...
