ICPC Indictment: PDP New Media Group wants Senator Akpabio Dropped As Minister-Designate The Peoples Democratic Party National New Media Group (PDP-NNMG) has said that President Muhammadu Buhari will be living up to his status as the Grand Patron of corruption in Nigeria should he go ahead to inaugurate former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio as a minister despite confirmation by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offenses Commission (ICPC) that he fraudulently diverted hospital equipment meant for a government cottage hospital in Ukana, Essien Udim, Akwa Ibom State to his private use.  The ICPC had said on Thursday, in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Rasheedat Okoduwa that it recovered hospital equipment meant for constituency project at the premises of Mma Obot Foundation, belonging to Senator Godswill Akpabio. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG)'s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye Five ministers of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have been abducted on their way to attend the church’s Ministers’ Conference in Lagos.  The General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye announced the abduction on Friday while giving a talk at the Redeemed Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Pastor Adeboye said the abduction took place on Thursday along the Ijebu-Ode axis. He charged the congregation to pray for the release of the abductees.  The General Overseer said this is the first time such incident of that magnitude was happening. “As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?” he queried.
