In case the land has been allocated to some other persons, Governor Fayose promised to get them another piece of land elsewhere as well as help the association in raising funds for the construction of a proposed Artisans' Village. Informing the gathering that a data capturing exercise for members will soon commence, Governor Fayose urged all artisans to make sure they are captured. Assuring the gathering that members of the association will be appointed into government boards, he further promised that the association will henceforth be represented by one or two members at important government functions. Governor Fayose also used the medium to appeal to the artisans as well as other Ekiti indigenes to pay their tax and dues regularly saying the little monies when gathered and properly utilised will go a long way in transforming the state.
