Leaked: Presidency Plots Fayose's Assassination

Nigerian Mirror has gathered authoritatively that there are thick plots ongoing to silence Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

Ayodele Fayose of the People's Democratic Party is the leading voice against the APC led Federal Government. Consistently, like a lone ranger, hiding under the shield of Section 308 of the Nigerian constitution, Fayose has been voraciously exposing the so many rots embedded in APC, the deceits and propaganda associated with APC, the ill health, mental and physical abilities of President Buhari to lead a complex country like Nigeria; and also known to have been speaking against the double standard, and hypocrisy of APC.

The plots to silence Fayose, according to NM Source came to climax with the latest exposure of Aisa Buhari's culpability in the Halliburton Bribery Scandal.

Governor Ayodele Fayose, had on Monday resuscitated a controversy surrounding the role played by Aisha, President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, in the messy bribery scandal involving U.S. Congressman, Williams Jefferson.

Gov. Fayose distributed a link to the U.S. Department of Justice Web site holding court documents where Mrs. Buhari was alleged to have transferred suspicious funds to a convicted former American congressman, Williams Jefferson.

The links to the documents distributed by the Governor's media aides showed that in some of the exhibits tendered in convicting Mr. Jefferson of bribery, Mrs. Buhari was mentioned as transferring $170,000 to the American politician using a firm as proxy.

The presidency had on different times tried but failed to gag Fayose by the use of State Apparatus like EFCC, and DSS. EFCC had on Monday in deferment to the section 308 of the Nigerian Constitution, frozen the personal bank account of Fayose in Zenith Bank. DSS according to an unconfirmed rumor are planning to arrest aides of the valorous governor.

This daring exposure by the fearless governor angered the presidency and propelled Aisha Buhari to take to the twitter and rained all sorts of abuses on Governor Fayose.

In some of her tweets from her verified handle she tweeted @aishambuhari "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FAYOSE IS AN UNCHAINED MAD DOG If Buhari is 73 years old, I Aisha am 45 years old, I have more than enough energy to face you"

Not satisfied with the actions taken so far by the men in black of the president and EFCC, Aisha Buhari according to an eavesdropper eavesdropping on Aisha Buhari's furious conversation with a close family quoted to have said, "can't this man be silenced for life for one?"

The source said there was uneasiness in and around the presidential villa since Monday, and Hajia has not been herself ever since the exposure.

The source said, "with the appointment of the new IGP, the presidency maybe planning to use the securities detailed to the governor to execute the assassination plot, but all that I know is that, the plan is very thick! They are working on something to get back at Fayose. I am afraid for that young man, he may end up being the last known voice against oppression in this era."

Mrs. Omolayo, who was warmly received with an Ọ̀wọ̀ song by jubilant party members, expressed appreciation to her ward for the support they gave her when she initially declared her intention to contest for governor. She explained that her decision to step down for Governor Oyebanji was informed by his wide acceptability across the state, sterling performances in office, and commitment to Ekiti’s growth and development, which she described as derivatives of continuity. While addressing the crowd, Mrs. Omolayo urged party members in Eporo Ward...

Ignore Rumours: APC Confirms Governor Oyebanji’s Name to Be Submitted to INEC on January 16, 2026

…As APC Spokesperson Reiterates Official Candidate List Ahead of Publication The APC Integrity Caucus has moved to dismiss what it describes as a reckless and senseless rumour being circulated by a few individuals posing as party members. The gossip, they said, claims that the party “does not intend to submit” the name of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a statement released on Thursday, November 14, 2025, the caucus said such claims are baseless and should be ignored by every well-meaning member of the public. “Since the successful conduct of our governorship primary on October 27 and the ratification by authorised delegates on October 29, some mischief makers have been whispering that the party will not submit Governor Oyebanji’s name to INEC. This is completely false,” the statement read. The caucus emphasized that the APC operates according to a clearly defined timetable, which specifies the dates for submissio...
