​Christmas Fiesta: Moba LG Boss Admonishes Citizens, Gives out Deep Freezers, Bags of Rice, Chicken and Cash 






In continuation of his ameliorative programs in complementing governor Fayose's laudable welfare scheme, the chairman of Moba local government, Hon Adeniyi Adebayo has distributed bags of rice, chicken, and cash gift to his people

Those targeted in the first face of the exercise were party leaders, party faithfuls, youths and women across the eleven political wards of the LGA. The distribution of the fiestas benevolence was done in the council headquarters of the LGA.

The largess' distribution which was personally done by the council boss, Hon Adeniyi Adebayo assisted by the vice chairman of the LGA, Hon Owolabi Mayowa, the secretary of the LGA, Hon Odunlami Akinloye witnessed unprecedented massive turnouts.

Praising the PDP led administration in the LGA and State, the beneficiaries of the largess said they've never had it cosier like this before during festive periods. They thanked the Chairman and Governor Fayose for bringing welfare packages to their doorsteps to cushion recession's effect caused by Buhari's APC-led FG.

It should be recalled that the chairman had few days ago empowered 220 youths across the eleven political wards of the local government area, where he promised to put smiles on the faces of the people of Moba LGA before the year runs out.

Traditionally, the thirteen Obas in Moba Local Government have also gotten their Christmas gifts without Noise. In addition to the Christmas packages handed over to the traditional rulers, the Chairman also distributed 13 giant deep freezers to the 13 Ori Ades to show that their fatherly role is appreciated

In the same vein, the Local government boss has admonished his people to be modest in merriments and be security conscious. In his Yuletide message to the people of Moba Local government, Hon Adebayo said, "Yuletide is a season of love, peace, goodwill and abundance of mercy, I implore you to celebrate modestly, drive safely, and be security conscious.

"This is festive periods, a lot of bubbling, and bustling will be ongoing, those that drive cars and ride bikes should drive carefully, reckless driving/riding that could lead to unwanted ugly scenarios should be avoided. May the joy of Christ’s birth ignite your heart with gladness and laughter."
