Moba LG Boss Consolidates Fayose's Achievements, Empowers 220 Youths




The chairman of Moba local government area of Ekiti state, Hon Niyi Adebayo has empowered 220 youths across the eleven wards that constitute the local government.

The empowerment program is a continuation of the ameliorative programs conceived by the State Governor, Dr Ayodele Fayose, and being executed by the council boss, Hon Adeniyi Adebayo.

The empowerment program coincides with Hon Adebayo's 12 months in office.



In his address to the youths, the council boss thanked God for where he is, and what he has been able to achieve so far within the first 365 days in office. He thanked the people's governor of Ekiti State for given him the rare opportunity to serve his people.

Hon Adebayo said, "normally, every moment spent in office, you have to thank God. Every opportunity you have in office, you have to appreciate God. I thank God for sparing my life till today, I sincerely appreciate the effort of Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose.



"The governor has told us to go and give back to our people, and we are here today giving back to 220 youths across the eleven wards of the local government area.

"We are handling them cash, Christmas and New year festivals are coming up, the governor has set the ball rolling that we should take care of our people, that's why we have come out to give back to the youths and appreciate them for standing firm with the government and come 2018, the youths will also be there for PDP and Dr Peter Ayodele Fayose."



The council boss called for more cooperation of the youths with the administration of Fayose. He enjoyed them to go back to their various wards and preach the gospel of modern infrastructure development of the governor.

While Presenting the empowerment goodies to the beneficiaries in Moba local government council secretariat, Otun Ekiti, Hon Adebayo reiterated his commitment to leave Moba Local Government much more better than he met it.



Hon Adebayo highlighted some achievements within the short period of his administration to include:
•Electricity extension at Erinmope Ekiti
•Construction of drain lines across the eleven political wards
•Purchase of official vehicles for the vice chairman
•Repair of transformer at Ogbon Isaro / Igbo Ogun Aye Oja road, Otun Ekiti
•Renovation of Mechanical workshop at the council secretariat, Otun Ekiti
•Repair works on pipe borne water lines across the council areas, etc.



Leaders of the party (PDP) in the Local government, who addressed the beneficiaries thanked Mr governor immensely for being a promise keeper, who has kept to his promise of touching down to the grassroot and also appreciated the executive chairman for the good gesture of bettering the lives of his people. They charged the youths to be good ambassadors of their respective homes.



Dignitaries who graced the empowerment program include; the Council Vice chairman, Hon Owolabi Mayowa, LG secretary, Hon Odunlami Michael Akinloye; all the 11 ward executive members, all the wards councillors, and notable political leaders.
