Ekiti 2018: Fayose's Choice is Our Choice, Moba LG Boss Declares



As the 2018 governorship election draws closer, Moba council boss, Hon Adeniyi Adebayo has declared that Moba people are solidly behind governor Peter Ayodele Fayose, and his choice for the 2018 guber poll.

The council boss made this known in his office while playing host to the People's Democratic Party Ekiti North Senatorial Executive, led by the party's district chairman, Hon Sunday Duyiro.

Speaking on behalf of the senatorial executive of the party, the senatorial district chairman, Hon Sunday Duyiro said the visit was aimed at strengthening and solidifying the party, and also to mobilize for the party the more in the district. The chairman also hinted the council executive on the new effort being made to reopen the party's senatorial office in the district.



Duyiro in his remarks, said "electoral process has started from now, we should all learn from governor Fayose and move closer to our people, like the way he's doing.

"We are very lucky in this senatorial district to have been blessed with calibers of representatives we are blessed with. Our senator, Duro Faseyi is performing, our reps are doing great, so also the young, vibrant, and dynamic chairman we have in Moba local government; they are all doing great."

The party's district chairman however warned against working against the interest of the party in 2018, saying temptation would come from different quarters wanting to lure them, but they should remain resolute to make sure that best candidate that will continue with the laudable developmental programs of governor Fayose is voted in. He however said Ekiti North stands with Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose, and his choice-successor comes 2018.

Responding on behalf of the council executive, the council boss, Hon Adeniyi Adebayo affirmed the unalloyed support and loyalty of the council executive for the first citizen of the state, and declared that they have no other candidate other than the choice of the people's governor.



"Moba Local Government is ever ready for PDP, anytime any moment. Wherever governor Fayose tells us to go, we are ready to toll. The candidate we having is still governor Ayodele Fayose, and whoever he throws out as his candidate is going to be our candidate comes 2018.

" I can vouch for all the local government party executive, the council executive and all the political office holders in Moba Local Government. We are all intact for the governor, " Adebayo said.

The council boss later led the senatorial executive on an inspectorial tour of the ongoing set-back clearance of major roads in the LG area. Hon Adebayo during the inspection said for security purpose, it's imperative to clear the setbacks and make the roads free of criminals and accidents, he also hinted about what he has in stock for the good people of Moba local government in this year 2017.



"We have to pull out our resources to make sure our local government is safe, and make it a befitting place to stay. We are also making sure that our roads are motorable and free of hoodlums. For security purpose, we have to clear both sides of the roads to enhance visibility.

"For this year 2017, we have a lot of capital projects that we shall be executing in Moba Local government. This is just a tip of an iceberg. We have projects we shall be doing in collaboration with the state government. We equally have projects that would be done in all the 13 towns and villgaes that constitute Moba. People should be looking forward to lot of projects that will be coming up in this year 2017, " Adebayo said.



Some of the roads being cleared include Ayetoro - Otun - Omuaran express road, Moba - Ilejemeje axis, Osun - Osan - Erinmope roads etc
