AWODUMILA EMPOWERS FARMERS IN COCOA PRODUCTION



Hon. Akinyede Julius Awodumila currently representing Ekiti South Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives empowered some farmers at IJan- Ekiti in Gbonyin Local government whose their Cocoa farms were affected at Ologuro area during the fire outbreaks early this year today 17th of June, 2017. The list which were compiled and submitted by Mr Adetayo ADEYEMI from Ijan.

Speaking through his media aide, Olaniyi Steve, Awodumila said, he was sad when he heard the report and he thought replacing it with the same Cocoa would be better than given them cash.

He promised to do something meaningful when the report came to him in which he fulfilled promised today.


One of the beneficiaries at the event was the Kabiyesi Onijan of Ijan, Oba Samuel Fadahunsi who expressed his gratitude when we got to his Palace on what Awodumila has been doing since he was elected. He said further he has confidence in him and has no advice for him since he has performed more than his imagination,most especially on some different empowerments,area of social amenities in which he had touched and the way he has been defending his Constituency at National Assembly. He pray that God continues to lead and protect him.

Another beneficiary, Chief Ajakaye said he has not yet believed his eyes because Akinyede Awodumila did what he was not believed because he thought it was a joke when he was told that Awodumila promised to replaced it since some people have been promised in the past,but nothing was done. Chief Ajakaye speak further that he renewed his loyalty in Governor Peter Fayose who sent a reasonable and reliable man( Awodumila) who always keep his promises to represent us in Abuja.

Finally, Awodumila promised to continue the good work till the end of his tenure.
