NMT Reporter 28/02/2018 Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Prof Kolapo Olusola Eleka has charged Ekiti people to bring out their children for vaccination in order to prevent them against one of the major killer diseases, measles. Eleka gave this advise today during the flag-off ceremony of measles vaccine campaign (MVC) held in Ado Ekiti. Eleka, who was rousingly cheered by the crowd during his remarks said Ekiti mothers should endeavor to take their children between Nine (9) months and Five (5) years old for measles vaccination. "We must make sure that our children are properly vaccinated. Had it been I was not vaccinated when I was a baby, I may not have had the opportunity of becoming deputy Governor. " I want to appeal to our nursing mothers, like it's being said, 'delay is dangerous'.
