International Non Governmental Organisation Honours Ekiti Reps Member, Presents Him Certificate of Credence

19th March, 2018

Hon. T. A. Aina, representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, comprising Ido/Osi, Moba and Ilejemeje Local Government Areas of Ekiti State in the house of Representatives has added another feather of success to his cap as the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation presented him a certificate of credence in Abuja today.

According to the spokesperson of the organisation, Prince Salih Yakubu "the body is a secret assessor that has thoroughly done a secret assessment of the legislator's projects and it's impacts on the lives of the people of the constituency.

"The organisation dispatched a group of secret assessors who visited the locations of various projects facilitated by the honourable member which include motorised and hand pump boreholes at several locations in the constituency; solar street lights, construction of standard blocks of classrooms, consruction of skill acquisition centre, road construction among others".

Prince Yakubu stressed that members of the constituency were interviewed on the performance, responsiveness and accessibility of their representative, saying after collating the results of the findings, the Honourable member scored more than 73% and thus qualified as one among the sixty legislators nationwide who merit the award.

Prince Yakubu was full of praise for the legislator for being a responsive, responsible and accessible leader.

Receiving the award, the lawmaker thanked the organisation for barring all difficulties and finding time to visit his constituency.

He expressed surprise as he doesn't know that his works are being monitored by an organisation, noting the honour bestowed on him is a call to do more.

Hon. Aina dedicated the award to God almighty for keeping him alive and His Excellency, Gov. Ayodele Fayose for giving him opportunity to serve his people.

The former council boss extended his appreciation to members of his family and everyone in his constituency for the domestic peace he enjoys from them as well as their cooperation and unflinching support.

The Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation is an international non-governmental organisation promoting ethical leadership and value orientation.

While addressing the crowd, Mrs. Omolayo urged party members in Eporo Ward...

The gossip, they said, claims that the party “does not intend to submit” the name of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a statement released on Thursday, November 14, 2025, the caucus said such claims are baseless and should be ignored by every well-meaning member of the public. “Since the successful conduct of our governorship primary on October 27 and the ratification by authorised delegates on October 29, some mischief makers have been whispering that the party will not submit Governor Oyebanji’s name to INEC. This is completely false,” the statement read. The caucus emphasized that the APC operates according to a clearly defined timetable, which specifies the dates for submissio...
