RE: Eleka in a "Come-and-Chop arrangement with Makinde"......a balderdash - Oluwole Olusola

The founding father of Ekiti Grassroots Movement, Hon. Oluwole Olusola has called on well meaning indigenes of Ekiti to disregard the poorly constructed propaganda being circulated by some faceless miscreants to downplay the integrity of Prof. Kolapo Olusola who has served Ekiti selflessly, adding that Fayemi has failed in his responsibility to deliver on his campaign promises.

In a text message received from Oluwole yesterday, he challenged the faceless group and those behind it to identify themselves and stop acting cowardly.

"We know the poorly constructed write up emanated from some disgruntled elements in the APC who are seeking relevance after being denied access by their pay master, Dr. Kayode Fayemi"

"There is no doubt in the fact that the last governorship election in Ekiti was marred by violence, external power, massive rigging and other undemocratic means which was attested to by local and international observers"

Speaking, he said Prof. Kolapo Olusola was a well-known scholar and professor of Building Technology in Obafemi Awolowo university. He has produced numerous Masters graduates and PhD graduates respectively".

"It is unfortunate that those who attempted to tarnish Kolapo's hard-earned integrity had forgotten that Ekiti became a point of reference to other states in the education sector under the leadership of the former governor, Dr. Ayodele Fayose"

"Ekiti State came first in NECO exams in three consecutive years; 2016  2017 and 2018 back to back under Kolapo's supervision. The record is there for them to check to cure their ignorance"

"Only a pedestrian, half-baked and disgruntled element would think a professor of a reputable university, Obafemi Awolowo for that matter would descend so low to *come and chop arrangement* with anybody as said by the faceless group. Professor Kolapo Olusola is open to any individual, government and organisation who is ready to tap from his skills and intellectual prowess"

Advising the faceless group and Fayemi to face governance squarely, he said Ekiti people were tired of abstract governance.

"Till now, Fayemi has not reacted on the insecurity in Orin Ekiti but busy plotting the removal of Comr.Adams Oshiomole to have his way as the Vice President in 2023"

"Governor Seyi Makinde reinstated some staff  who were employed by his predecessor but what we have in Ekiti is shameful and embarrassing. Almost 1000 workers were sacked in Ekiti State University and 2000 workers were sacked in the civil service", he said

APC Governorship Aspirant, Atinuke Omolayo, Participates in Delegate Congress in Emure

October 25, 2025 A former governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mrs. Atinuke Oluremi Omolayo (née Okeya), who was duly screened and cleared by the party’s National Screening Committee, has demonstrated uncommon party loyalty by stepping down for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji and actively participating in the delegate congress held today in her Eporo Ward, Emure Local Government Area. Mrs. Omolayo, who was warmly received with an Ọ̀wọ̀ song by jubilant party members, expressed appreciation to her ward for the support they gave her when she initially declared her intention to contest for governor. She explained that her decision to step down for Governor Oyebanji was informed by his wide acceptability across the state, sterling performances in office, and commitment to Ekiti’s growth and development, which she described as derivatives of continuity. While addressing the crowd, Mrs. Omolayo urged party members in Eporo Ward...

Ignore Rumours: APC Confirms Governor Oyebanji’s Name to Be Submitted to INEC on January 16, 2026

…As APC Spokesperson Reiterates Official Candidate List Ahead of Publication The APC Integrity Caucus has moved to dismiss what it describes as a reckless and senseless rumour being circulated by a few individuals posing as party members. The gossip, they said, claims that the party “does not intend to submit” the name of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a statement released on Thursday, November 14, 2025, the caucus said such claims are baseless and should be ignored by every well-meaning member of the public. “Since the successful conduct of our governorship primary on October 27 and the ratification by authorised delegates on October 29, some mischief makers have been whispering that the party will not submit Governor Oyebanji’s name to INEC. This is completely false,” the statement read. The caucus emphasized that the APC operates according to a clearly defined timetable, which specifies the dates for submissio...
