No Stone Unturned: Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́ Praises BAO’s Two-Year Achievements in Ekiti State

Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), recently marked two years in office, earning widespread recognition for his administration’s impressive achievements.

From advancements in education to infrastructural development, health, and grassroots welfare, many regard his leadership as exemplary.

Speaking on the governor’s performance, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Digital Communications, Mr. Adegbulugbe Adedotun, popularly known on social media as Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́, commended the administration’s all-encompassing approach.

“Governor Oyebanji’s administration has left no stone unturned in Ekiti State’s development.

“In just two years, he has shown that governance can be impactful and people-centered,” Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́ stated

He highlighted key areas where the governor has recorded significant milestones:

Education: Major investments in infrastructure and policies aimed at improving academic performance.

Agriculture: Innovative programs empowering farmers and boosting food security.

Tourism: Initiatives designed to reposition Ekiti as a leading tourism destination.

Health: Improved healthcare infrastructure and increased access to medical services.

Roads and Infrastructure: Extensive road construction projects improving connectivity across the state.

Pensioners’ Welfare: Prompt and consistent payment of pensions, ensuring retirees are well cared for.

Regular Salary Payments: A steady payment schedule for civil servants, fostering economic stability.

Electricity: Efforts to expand access to electricity, particularly in underserved areas.

Humanitarian Initiatives: Programs targeted at assisting vulnerable groups and individuals.

Private Sector Growth: Policies encouraging entrepreneurship and economic diversification.

“Programs like Ojuse BAO demonstrate the governor’s personal commitment to touching lives directly.

"These interventions have created a stronger bond between the government and the people of Ekiti State,” Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́ noted.

Security also remains a top priority for Governor Oyebanji. Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́ emphasized the governor’s proactive collaboration with security agencies, saying, “BAO understands that development cannot thrive without security. His actions have made Ekiti a safer place for everyone.”

As discussions about the governor’s potential re-election bid begin to surface, Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́ dismissed criticism from detractors.

“The so-called wailers are focused on speculation about a second term instead of acknowledging his remarkable achievements. If you have a child excelling in their studies, won’t you encourage them to continue? It is not out of place for Governor Oyebanji to seek re-election, considering all he has achieved in just two years,” he argued.

For many residents of Ekiti State, Governor Oyebanji’s record speaks for itself. His leadership has fostered progress, strengthened communities, and enhanced the state’s overall development trajectory.

“BAO we know, BAO we follow,” Àgbà Ẹgbẹ́ concluded with conviction.

Mrs. Omolayo, who was warmly received with an Ọ̀wọ̀ song by jubilant party members, expressed appreciation to her ward for the support they gave her when she initially declared her intention to contest for governor. She explained that her decision to step down for Governor Oyebanji was informed by his wide acceptability across the state, sterling performances in office, and commitment to Ekiti’s growth and development, which she described as derivatives of continuity. While addressing the crowd, Mrs. Omolayo urged party members in Eporo Ward...

Ignore Rumours: APC Confirms Governor Oyebanji’s Name to Be Submitted to INEC on January 16, 2026

…As APC Spokesperson Reiterates Official Candidate List Ahead of Publication The APC Integrity Caucus has moved to dismiss what it describes as a reckless and senseless rumour being circulated by a few individuals posing as party members. The gossip, they said, claims that the party “does not intend to submit” the name of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). In a statement released on Thursday, November 14, 2025, the caucus said such claims are baseless and should be ignored by every well-meaning member of the public. “Since the successful conduct of our governorship primary on October 27 and the ratification by authorised delegates on October 29, some mischief makers have been whispering that the party will not submit Governor Oyebanji’s name to INEC. This is completely false,” the statement read. The caucus emphasized that the APC operates according to a clearly defined timetable, which specifies the dates for submissio...
