A group within the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, Integrity Caucus, has described the ambition of former aviation Promoter, Mr. Peter Obafemi as inordinate and outright misplaced priority.
Publicity Secretary of the group, Michael Falodun in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Monday, described Obafemi as a serial contestant, loser and a failed aviation Promoter who had also failed on the home front.
Falodun described the PDP Governorship aspirant as an enemy of Ekiti who will never see anything good in the State because of his inordinate ambition which has always suffered defeat.
"One cannot be too surprised about the statement from Obafemi, who failed in business and also in his marriages. He is psychologically unbalanced to differentiate between what is good and what is bad due to his bitter life experiences, having run his businesses aground with his debauchery and wantonness.
"A sane mind will not describe a flyover meant to decongest traffic; save time, provide aesthetics, improve productivity, and impact the economy as a misplaced priority. So we understand and sympathise with his plight", the statement read in part.
The Integrity Caucus added that Obafemi's inordinate ambition will not make it through the primary just like in 2007 and 2014 and advised him to focus and concentrate his energy on his third marriage which held recently to avert catastrophes experienced in the past.
While thanking the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke for his benevolence to his friend and resuscitating him back to limelight after falling at different times, the group advised Governor Adeleke not to expend Osun State resources on Obafemi's inordinate, misplaced and ill-timed ambition which will not see the light of the PDP primary as usual.
IC expressed confidence that Oyebanji will secure a second term in office with overwhelming majority of the votes cast due to his wide acceptability; having served the people meritoriously by making the welfare of Ekiti people and development of the State his topmost priority.
