ADO - EKITI The Ekiti State Government has disclosed that no fewer than 150 youths have been trained through the Ekiti Broiler Outgrowers Production Scheme (EBOPS) as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen food security and create sustainable opportunities in agriculture. Speaking on the government’s interventions between 2023 and 2024, the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Ebenezer Boluwade, recalled how the Oyebanji-led administration stepped in during the poultry crisis when the cost of feed Inputs - especially maize - rose sharply, threatening the survival of many farms.
