Senator Faseyi harps on unity, peace among Ekiti PDP members

The member representing Ekiti North in Senate, Senator Duro Faseyi has reiterated the need for all stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state to focus on issues that will engender unity and cohesiveness of the party rather than selfish interest. This is even as Senator Faseyi challenged his colleague representing Ekiti South in the Senate, Senator Biodun Olujimi to come out openly to tell the whole world her role in crisis rocking the PDP in the state popularly known as Fountain of Knowledge. The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s Bauchi South Senatorial District bye-election, Lawal-Yahaya  Gumau, says if elected into the Senate, he will work towards the amendment of the Constitution to make President Muhammadu Buhari president for life. Gumau, who is currently the member representing Toro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and in his eighth year, said his only mandate for aspiring to go to the Senate is to protect Buhari’s interest. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has berated the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Kayode Fayemi over his reported statement that the only solution to the inability of over 25 States in the country to pay workers salary regularly was for States and Local councils’ workforce to be reduced.
