Shameful, irresponsibile that DSS is now leaking Nigerians phone conversations to Sahara Reporters - Fayose

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has accused the Department of State Service (DSS) of recording telephone conversations of Nigerians perceived as critical of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s All Progressives Congress (APC) government, editing the conversations and leaking same to Sahara Reporters, which has now become the official propaganda platform of the federal government. Governor Fayose, who said he was not bothered by the new sinister antic of the federal government, added that; "Rather than sitting down and be monitoring peoples phones, the federal government should provide food for Nigerians and save the lives of those that are being killed in Southern Kaduna and other places." The governor, who reacted to his telephone conversation with Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike that was published by Sahara Reporters today, through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said; “If the President and his hatchet men in the ...

Nigerians mock Sahara Reporters over attack on Fayose, Wike

Two days after Sahara Reporters published an offensive article written by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State against the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, Nigerians are now mocking the online news platform over its persistent attack on Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose and his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike. On December 27, Sahara Reporters, which is known as the propaganda platform of the APC had published an article titled; “Pastor Adeboye's Endorsement Of Gov. Ayo Fayose And Its Contradictions” purportedly written by a non-existing Pastor Julius Oluwafemi to attack on Pastor Adeboye and the RCCG. Today, Sahara Reporters published what it called an exclusive audio leak of Governors Wike and Fayose mocking Nigerian Army over Rivers State rerun election. But the audio was only about Governor Fayose congratulating Governor Wike for standing firm to prevent the will of the people of Rive...

RCCG General Overseer, Adeboye a fake, fortune seeking inconsistent Pastor, who prays for politicians for cash – Ekiti APC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has described the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye as a fake, fortune seeking and an inconsistent political pastor who always pray for politicians for cash. The party described Pastor Adeboye as a fortune seeking and fake pastor, asking; “Why are these fortune seeking pastors pretending to be winning souls for Christ when they are selfish traders who are busy exploiting the ignorance of worshippers? Instead of visiting the poor in prisons, our fake pastors visit corrupt politicians who have stolen billions.” Pastor Adeboye had during his tour of the country to the state as part of the church’s annual ‘Let’s Go A Fishing” programme, said to Mr. Fayose: “We thank God for your courage, for your boldness, we thank God for your being willing to take risks so that your people can be protected. You have been a governor who knows when to say enough is enough in defence of his peo...

Ekiti PDP lambasts APC over attack on Pastor Adeboye, Says; “Rebuttal is afterthought”

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the statement credited to the State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr Jide Awe, disparaging the person and image of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye as a demonstration of the devilish mind-set of the party and height of political rascality, saying; denying the statement was a mere afterthought. The PDP noted that Pastor Adeboye commending the State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, for the governor’s courage and willingness to defend his people and the cause of the common man in the country was a statement of fact. Spokesperson of the PDP in the State, Mr Jackson Adebayo, in a statement on Monday, said; “it is the height of crude politics for the APC to insinuate that a man of God of Pastor Adeboye’s standing took bribe to commend Governor Fayose for what is obvious. He said; “Pastor Adeboye is a respected man of God. He is not a pol...

Jide Awe did not speak for us, APC youths apologise over attack on Pastor Adeboye

Our attention has been drawn to press statement credited to Chief Jide Awe, who is still parading himself as the chairman of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in which he insinuated that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye may have collected bribe from Governor Ayodele Fayose to declare support for him. While we do not want to dabble into the argument of whether or not the statement was issued by Chief Jide Awe, or the propriety of him issuing press statements on behalf of the party, we wish to state that in saner climes, he (Jide Awe) will not even be parading himself as Chairman of any political party. Most importantly, we cannot join anyone in rebutting the highly offensive statement made against a revered man of God like Pastor Adeboye and the entire RCCG, because when the so-called State Exco of the APC being led by Chief Jide Awe did the same against the Osun State Governor, Alhaji Rauf Aregbesol...

Ekiti APC slams Pastor Adeboye over support for Fayose, alleges bribery

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has frown at the comment made by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye yesterday commending the State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, for what he called the governor’s courage and willingness to defend his people and the cause of the common man in the country. The party said it was alarmed that a cleric of Pastor Adebayo’s standing could praise Governor Fayose for his persistent insults and abuses on President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that Pastor Adeboye’s should be seen as speaking for himself and his comment must not be seen as representing that of the entire members of the RCCG. In a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Sunday and signed by State Chairman of the party, Chief Jide Awe, the party alleged that Fayose could have bribed Pastor Adeboye with huge amount of money to get such endorsement, which they are now circulating everywhere. Pastor Adeboye had during his tour o...
