Fayose: The One and only Architect of Modern Ekiti State Alonge Olufemi (Alonso) 26th July, 2017 Where are those people saying the only thing we are doing in Ekiti State is Stomach Infrastructure? Recently, I was embroiled in a squabble with a former Students' Union Leader over his wrong notion towards Ekiti State Government. It is nauseating hearing some people say Gov. Ayodele Fayose has not done anything in Ekiti State both in his first and second term. After all, he did most of the things that makes Ado-Ekiti look like a state capital. But here I am today with the landmark achievements of the only architect of modern Ekiti State. >> The popular Fayose Market at Ajilosun known as Computer Village in Ekiti was constructed by him during his first term. >> The present Governor's Office was the initiative of Gov. Ayodele Fayose. >> Lady Jibowu Hall in Government House was built by him during his first tenure. >> The Fountain Hotel at ...

APC'S BAD GOVERNANCE HAS DIVIDED THE COUNTRY~ GOVERNOR WIKE

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that the bad governance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has left the country terribly divided. Speaking during the official flag-off of the reconstruction/rehabilitation of Abuloma, Fimie, Ozuboko and Amadi -Ama community roads in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Governor Wike said: "Nigeria is divided because of the APC Leadership style". He stated: "Wherever you go today in this country, there is one problem or the other. Is that how Nigerians want it? Certainly not. We need people who will promote peace through quality leadership. " The governor said that Nigerians were deceived into voting for the APC, pointing out that in 2019 no Nigerian will be deceived by the empty promises of the party. "The change they said they are bringing is fake change. No person resident in Rivers State and sees what we are suffering from the APC Federal Government will ever support APC...

Femi Adesina's arrogance of power by Lere Olayinka

22/07/2017 I just read Egbon Femi Adesina's Epistle titled, "PMB AND THE DESCENDANTS OF SHIMEI" in which he likened Nigerians that are asking questions about the state of health of President Buhari to the descendants of the Biblical Shimei, the son of Gera. Let me bring the attention of Egbon Femi Adesina to what happened in the United States of America this week. Senator John McCain of the USA who is about same age with Buhari had brain cancer surgery this week in his country and it was made public. Americans knew what was wrong with their senator and knew what type of prayer to say for the retired army hero. It was even Senator John McCain's spokesperson that announced his state of health and the hospital where he was being treated. But here in Nigeria, Egbon Femi Adesina, a Presidential Spokesperson is describing Nigerians as descendants of Shimei for simply asking questions about the state of health of their president. APC apologists are even assisting...

My governor is a leader that knows the way, he does not only know the way, he shows the way, he does not only show the way, he walks the way and encourages others to walk through the way; that is the reason we are moving forward. This is the period we need to stand firm, if we are to talk ab...
