Impeached Ekiti Former Dep. Speaker Seeks Refugee Status In Canada Using False Claims After making over N100 million as member and Deputy Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Segun Adewumi, who represented Ekiti West Constituency 1 in the immediate past House of Assembly is now in Canada, seeking refugee status under false claims. As deputy speaker, Adewumi made about N2.5 million monthly while he received about N1.8 million as member of the House of Assembly.
