Rivers Rerun: Free, fair, credible elections dead under Buhari, APC - Fayose

APC Youths lament Fayemi’s appointment of non-Ekiti indigene as personal assistant, others

Youths in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, under the aegis of Ekiti APC Youths Congress (EAYC) have condemned the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi over his appointment of non-Ekiti indigenes as his aides, especially Mr Seun Odewale, otherwise known as EggHead, an indigene of Ogun State as his personal assistant. In a press statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Friday and jointly signed by Mr Tope Ogunkuade and Comrade Tunji Adeleye, Convener and Secretary respectively, the EAYC said it could no longer pretend as if all was well when benefits that should come to the youths in the APC in Ekiti State are being enjoyed by people from other States. Fayemi must explain his alleged N1bn donation to Akeredolu’s campaign – Ekiti Youths

The Ekiti Progressives Youths (EPY) has demanded an explanation from the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi over his alleged contribution of N1 billion campaign fund of the Ondo State Governor-elect, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN). Rising from its meeting in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday, the EPY said in a communique signed by its President and Secretary, Mr Samuel Adekunle and Comrade Roland Adewale that it was alarmed that Dr Fayemi, who left Ekiti State in debt could donate N1 billion to the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship election campaign in Ondo State. Fayose presents N93.4bn budget for 2017, tags it "Budget of Consolidation"

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, on Tuesday presented a budget estimate of N93.4 billion to members of the House of Assembly in Ado-Ekiti. The budget, ‎which is 33 percent higher than the 2016 Budget of N70.5 billion, was christened "Budget of Consolidation" Governor Fayose, while appraising the 2016 Budget, said the state only recorded 89 percent performance due to unfavorable economic climate in the country and which negatively affected the state government. ‎He said out of proportional estimated revenue of N58.7 billion for 2016, only N52.4 billion was realized as actual revenue. ‎"The performance of the budget is a reflection of the state of the Nigerian economy. World AIDS day: Fayose calls for more cooperation among stakeholders

The wife of Ekiti state Governor, Her Excellency Mrs Feyisetan Fayose has called for more cooperation among stakeholders in the fight against HIV/AIDS and discrimination against people living with the disease. This call was made on Thursday at the venue of the event organised for marking this year's world AIDS day commemoration which took place at the premises of Late Madam Funmilayo Olayinka Women Center, Ado Ekiti. After Donating N1bn to Akeredolu’s campaign, Fayemi wants wife as Ondo SSG, Senator in 2019

A few days after he won the Ondo State Governorship election, the Ondo State Governor-elect, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is now being pressured by the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Dr Kayode Fayemi to appoint his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) to compensate for the N1 billion he contributed to his (Akeredolu) election. Fayemi’s wife is from Ilaramokin in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, which is in the Central Senatorial District that is favoured to produce the (SSG).
