A Pressure group within the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti,  Integrity Caucus, has faulted the Minister for Solid Minerals, Chief Dele Alake over diversion and mode of distribution of 1200 bags of rice meant for citizens of the state. A statement from the Publicity Secretary of the group, Michael Falodun on Sunday, said members of the group after its monthly meeting for the month of September raised concerns on the diversion of 1,200 bags of rice released by President Tinubu to Ekiti, to the private residence of Mr Adebayo Adeosun(A.K.A HELLO) in ikoro Ekiti, where it is being ferried around to unknown places and homes of members of the opposition parties in the state using FUOYE Buses made available by Mr. Kayode Ojo, the Pro-Chancellor of the University(FUOYE). A group within the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti, Integrity Caucus, has described a shadowy Gubernatorial Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  in Ekiti State,  Mrs. Funmilayo Ogun as suffering from Attention-Seeking Disorder(ASD). August 6, 2024  Ekiti State Government has issued an advisory to farmers in the State in view of the prevailing dry spell being experienced in the State. A statement from the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Ebenezer Boluwade made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti urged farmers not to be disturbed by the long dry spell currently being experienced as the present weather is not totally unexpected following an advisory by the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) at the beginning of the year. It is saddening that the party could be divided to the extent that no particular leader is leading the array of leaders in the party. When Senator 'Biodun Olujimi was at the National Assembly, she tried to take the leadership of the party from former governor Ayodele Fayose but her faction was not strong enough to silence the Afao man. The power tussle between Fayose and Olujimi is the reason the party is where it is now.
