Buhari practises nepotism, says Junaid Mohammed Alleges President’s relatives dictate Aso Rock policy

Muhammadu Buhari’s relatives are the ones dictating policy in Aso Rock for 170 million Nigerians, adding nepotism to the festering allegation of narrow mindedness levelled against the president, who critics say surrounds himself with Northerners in running national affairs. Junaid Mohammed, radical politician and Second Republic lawmaker, named at least seven relatives of the president who are the power behind the throne in the Villa – apart from the heads of all vital security agencies who are from the from the North. In a telephone interview with TheNiche from his base in Kano, Mohammed accused Buhari of giving key positions to his cousins, nephews, and in-laws, and is therefore guilty of the corruption he is trying to fight. Purported Clean-up And Plans To Resume Oil Exploration Causing Pandemonium In Ogoni Land.

There is serious tension and confusion in Ogoni Land following federal government's decision to wait until 18 months time before the implementation of the clean-up exercise will take off after the over publicized flag-off, and the surprising attempt by Nigerian Petroleum Development Company(NPDC) to commence oil exploration in Ogoni barely 3 weeks after the flag-off that many have termed a jamboree. Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP) through its president, Legborsi Pyagbara on June 24 2016 condemned the move by the federal government and some APC leaders in Ogoni, and vowed that Ogoni people will resist it. Also on that same day, Dr. Young Nkpah, the president of National Youth Council of the Ogoni People(NYCOP) led members of the body to stage a peaceful protest at Novotel Hotel in Port Harcourt where NDPC was meeting with members of APC from Ogoni to map out strategy for the commencement of oil exploration in Ogoni. Even Celestine Akpobari a front line human r...

Bermuda Triangle: Ship Reappears 90 Years After Going Missing

The Cuban Coast Guard announced this morning, that they had intercepted an unmanned ship heading for the island, which is presumed to be the SS Cotopaxi, a tramp steamer which vanished in December 1925 and has since been connected to the legend of the Bermuda Triangle. The Cuban authorities spotted the ship for the first time on May 16, near a restricted military zone, west of Havana. They made many unsuccessful attempts to communicate with the crew, and finally mobilized three patrol boats to intercept it. When they reached it, they were surprised to find that the ship was actually a nearly 100-year old steamer identified as the Cotopaxi, a name famously associated with the legend of the Bermuda Triangle. There was no one on board and the ship seemed to have been abandoned for decades, suggesting that this could actually be the tramp freighter that disappeared in 1925. An exhaustive search of the ship led to the discovery of the captain’s logbook. It was, indeed, associated wi...

The impeachment led to the declaration of a state of emergency in the State. Sources said Ojudu confided in some of his associates last week that it will be difficult for the APC to return to power in the State in 2018 with Fayose still in office and that everything must be done to get the governor out before the end of 2017, even if it will require foisting anarchy on the State. The immediate past Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Prince Uche Secondus has charged All Progressives Congress APC federal Government led by President Muhammedu Buhari to stop causing more problems for the country and set out to tackle the myriads it already created. Prince Secondus noted that rather than strive to address the major socio economic issues weighing down Nigerians due to the confusion and lack of direction of  the government in the last one year, the APC  is rather busy creating more battle fronts and compounding the challenges of the county. "Today under APC leadership the country has become a whole theatre of acrimony with agitations here and there with no clear sign of solution in sight forcing political watchers to question if the country is disintegrating. You Are Incompetent, Northern Leaders Tell Buhari, Call For His Resignation

In a shocking twist of events, Northern Leaders have called for the immediate resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari, for making a deliberate attempt to dialogue with the Niger Delta Avengers, while clamping down on Boko Haram terrorists. Controversial Northern figure, Dr. Junaid Mohammed, who spoke on behalf of the Northerners on Sunday, June 26, likened the militant group, Niger Delta Avenger, to a terrorist group, and called on Buhari either resign or deal with the militants, as it has been dealing with the Boko Haram terrorists. “No forward-looking nation negotiates with terrorists. And I should say that if he does not have the political will to deal with the militants, he should step aside. Governance does not have room for destroyers,” he said. This is coming, barely 24-hours when the president offered to meet personally with the Niger Delta Avengers, through the Governors, Elders and other stakeholders in the Niger Delta Region, as part of his efforts towards s...

EFCC caught a consuming Python in Fayose, this time around

By Nnamdi Ukasanya The story is that an insider from Zenith Bank, was coerced by the agents of EFCC, to fabricate lies to implicate the Governor. His campaign funding was the target as the idea was to make the world to believe it was railroaded from the alleged Dasuki's Arms cash, even though they lacked every empirical or concrete evidence to nail him. The urge to freeze his account, without prior investigation, was predicted on the need to nail Fayose at all cost as a deterrent to all dissenting voices. Today, the accuser has turned to the accused as nothing on earth will vindicate Madam Aisha, aside making a press statement in the United States of America. But let's assume Fayose had no immunity, what would have been his fate? He would have been chained by now and rendered incommunicado, while EFCC and their navigators, would be on top of directing the narratives.  PDP would have been permanently silenced amidst jubilation in the camp of those who sees nothing in the o...

The attempt by the All Progressive Congress to block the fresh bailout to Ekiti state for the payment of salaries of workers has been condemned by the Peoples Democratic party in the state. PDP described the petition written by the All Progressive Congress against the state government to President Mohammadu Buhari not to grant the request for the bailout to pay the arrears of the salaries of the civil servants in the state as a wickedness manufactured in the name of politics without minding the consequences on the civil servants who are mostly the breadwinners in their families. In a statement by the State Publicity Secretary of PDP in Ekiti state, Mr Jackson Adebayo which was made available to journalists on Sunday in ado Ekiti, PDP stated that by the petition , the opposition APC in the state has confirmed that its penchant for poor life for the public servants in Ekiti is very paramount to them even when Governor Ayodele Fayose is working out an alternative to the economic mess...

PDP National Caretaker Committee: Sheriff in consistent falsehood

The attention of the National Caretaker Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has been drawn to assertions made in the media by the former Chairman, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff that clandestine visits were made to a key figure of the APC. In addition, he alleged that the Chairman and Secretary have a pact to reserve the Presidential ticket of the PDP to the said APC Kingpin. The public is kindly reminded to recall that it was barely two weeks ago the former Chairman alleged that Senator Ahmed Makarfi is only pursuing his Presidential ambition and not concerned about the job given the Committee by the National Convention. Now, he has changed the story. The public is also kindly reminded that one of the problems that led to the removal of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff was attempting to convert himself from a 3 months Chairman to not only a substantive Chairman but the Party's Presidential Candidate for 2019. He went further to start offering running mate position to different ind...
